glad you like it. possibly could move the switch player button, but once you get pretty good at the game, it gets in the way of shooting sideways :)

passing is quite hard, probably because its 5-a-side (where passing is hard becasue the pitch is crowded) this will be easier if I do an 11-a-side version.

Just left mine too. I would encourage anyone who's enjoyed the game to do the same; we don't want the "gave up in two minutes" crowd to have the final say on the game.

some tricks to make the game easier:
-take the better teams (brazil, spain) first
and dont give up if you loose your first games
-fast spin shoots are very effectiv , so try to make them very often ( just flick on of the sides of the screen)
-fool the opponement: if an oppon. is in front of you first take the ball to the right and then put it left (try it on amateur first)
spinning around a player is nice ,too ( just circle ( flicking the ball in one direction until you turned around))
-when you make a pass, press change player before the pass arrives so you can control the ball easier
-play the ball back to the keeper ( not to strong (=>own goal)) so you can start your attack/waste some time

You guys can also just add it into the control options like in DOOM where you can drag the controls where you want them on the screen depending on what the player feels more comfortable with.

But great job guys. Touch Soccer 3D is the soccer game I have been searching for. Easy controls, fast gameplay, and polished graphics make it 100% enjoyable. Great all around game!

Yeah, I thought about that for a joystick controller too, if I feel I have to add one (though I feel the game would loose something with one)

Really glad you like it, and have been wanting something like this, that's kind of why I made it - it's a game I've allways wanted to play.

It's kindof Wii-ish, and you dont need to make a joystick! you can just make it so people can move around the controls. I personally like how they are now but I'm just thinking about the others who don't feel comfortable with them right now.

    Italy
Just played three world cups on amateur and won the third :)
    Some very small things:
    - in the knockout stage, why is your team always in the upper position of the three? Or at least, this happened to me (I always used Italy so far). Would be nicer to have your position randomized
-I'd like an additional key to skip at once all the cpu games until your next one.

Another idea I had: it would be nice to have a special customizable team, where you decide the team name, shirt color etc. You could use this team in any competition. Maybe the players of this team might have names attached, and you could track some statistics (such as the number of goals for each player, number of competitions attended and won by the team, etc.)

Hey, sz, thanks:) I didn't know if you saw but I credited your Touchgrind comparison here>

I was going to do the same in that user review, but thought it might seem weird since that's the same review I submitted to iTunes.

Anybody have this and GOALS! Pro?

Is it worth having both of them? Not a big soccer fan, but I am a big soccer video game fan.

    I have both.

This game is better than I thought it would be.

It’s a frantic soccer action. You can’t stop. But all in a good way.

The controls are unique but they work well but pay attention to the white arrow to keep knowing where to go. The player auto selection can create some confusing moments because once the player is changed you will face its field view that may be totally different from the player you were handling. You can turn if off and use the top right button to manually select the player. However, once you get use to the changes and all auto selection can be very handy.

The word here is be patient and practice a bit before making your mind.

I just wish statistics: at least winnings/losses for each game mode apart (single match, world cup and so on).

it is, it is known as Touch Football 3D on the French Store, but a search for touch soccer or touch football brings it up.

    the link is:

    cheers

maybe adding lobs would be nice so you can make high passes without shooting so hard and lop the ball over the keeper or other players

as controls i would say flick up then down or vice versa

and maybe add specialists to the teams ( some player with extremly hard shots or very good in passing)
