I'm using the warrior class. I could only beat him after getting to level 13. Just attack him and use your special when you can, then run around until the roots stop popping up, then go back and attack/special again. Keep doing that until the bugs start popping up (when this happens he will produce a cloud of poison, just sprint out before that hits you) Don't stop to attack the bugs or else the roots will hit you, just get them all in a bunch and attack them while you are attacking creeper. Keep doing that and try to avoid the giant chains of roots (these pull you in and then creeper like eats you or something. lol it does a ton of damage.) This should beat him. Just keep trying. good luck
Itd be nice to have a list of what types of pets monsters will become. just saying THe only ones I know are -pit -> combat -chikki->combat - pod -> looting - corpi -> gathering Or is it random each time you tame one? Also what do you do when you tame a pet. After using the kit do you just push the action button randomly, or do you have to do anything?
Admittedly I am only in the first section still, haven't encountered a boss or mini boss yet because I am doing all the quests and didn't have too too much time to play. But, so far, the only item shop I have found costs real money? I have the cookbook yes, so will be able to fabricate weapons and the like but what about the first aid kits? You do earn some in game currency but don't know what that is for yet. Is there an item shop further on that uses the in game currency somewhere further along? I would hate for this to be an IAP fest.
It is by no standards a IAP purchase fest. You buy the first aid kits in the accesory shop. There is one in every village. The girl with the pink hair is the IAP shop which lets you have infinites of things like grindstones or pet catchers.
Wild frontier impressions Been testing for the last two days in my free time. Really enjoying the music and a few of the gameplay nuances (raising pets, weapon recipes), as well as the interesting and useful day/night cycle. Will say the game has a bit of a learning curve understanding inventory management, as well as figuring out the menus and navigation (not unlike any other new RPG, though, I suppose). Hoping the story picks up, because it's got the potential. Also a little wary of the IAP system, I really oppose the presence of them in RPG's. Thanks again for the selection! Look forward to playing the game further. Another note: the translation of dialogue seems to be prett solid, some of the menu text is poorly translated, as well as some things still showing up in Korean. R.D.
Actually in the first town just left of the cash store girl (who is every where) there is an item store. But because of the story of the main quest you have to do the first quest in town to open it up. There are actually other types of stores, like someone has said, in the next village.
You guys should start filling out the forms now because it takes a while for allstar to proccess your questions. That way you get your giftcard sooner.
