I wonder how long it will be before this game releases. I am glad I have the beta. It is awesome. What would really blow me away is if they came out with either an update or a separate game that added a whole new continent/island (doesn't necessarily need to be as big as this one) dedicated to multiplayer. I know this would be basically a copy from Monster Hunter's online multiplayer but it would still be amazing. PVP wouldnt hurt either lol.
I really hope the IAP go up. I actually want to spend some cash for this game. Its still a blast, but man is it hard. I am in dungeon 2 and for anyone that thinks spamming one ability or shooting your gun will work in this game, you are gonna die a lot! The second dungeon boss is ridiculous. On top of its attack patterns you have to worry about the damn elemental attacks in this dungeon. Cause every time you get hit its pretty much elemental attack debuffs on drugs! Uggghhhhh taking a break. I may actually go grind for once in this game because this place is annoying. I can take monsters 10 levels higher than me but I am at least 2 levels higher than anything there and it is so freakin crazy! This game is actually getting more and more fun to play with. Also has anyone tamed a hatchling yet?
I kept my pet. It's heroic so I have no reason to get rid of it. I hope this game does well, it is above any other jrpg currently available in almost every way. I'm finding I need to either grind or spend a ton of money on health potions which is starting to annoy me. I also think more weapons should be available for purchase from the mokars.
Camele has every type of weapon and armor - general. There are a couple of rare special sets that have to be made through recipes. But you can get the general no socket version of almost everything in the central village. There is even a gamble npc that lets you buy a type of item and get a random version of it. I actually found that if I used the strategies of the class / skills, invested some points into SP, and got rid of my pet that was looting; I ended up making at ton of money and using a lot less health potions. I was so used to mass grinding with other rpgs that I didn't think about being a little patient. Pays off... if you find one spot to kill stuff for around 5 minutes you can usually get 99 of the huntinging items they drop in a stack which sells for a lot.
Oh man, hearing you guys talking about this has really whetted my apetite. I'm definitely stoked! Dammit, when can i pay!?? (and play, obviously)
Yah. Most items are only worth about 15. But you get so many of them that it adds up quick. I got 10,000 by trading in a bunch of crap lol

I have tried for two hours to tame a dragon hatchling.... I have gotten 4 and a half hearts. I am not sure if it can be done your first play through. I am level 44 and the best pet I have seen is a pitch white beeti / bat that can stealth and attacks with and ranged ice attack. It was level 52 and just for the record you can tame at a higher level than you. It just goes down 10 levels from its origin. I got lucky and it turned rare after it gained a level so it was buff / loot. It flies so it can grab all of the loot easy and it stealthes so it doesn't get hit. It also gives a lighting debuff which is awesome later in game since it stuns you so much when you get hit with it. Actually all elemental attacks suck later on. Another FYI at level 60 all pets have a chance to turn into heroic versions. So I would save right before it levels to 60 and keep reloading till it goes heroic. Since it does not save at this current time during the change.
nice. thanks for the info. I am still lvl 25 but I will eventually get higher. Do you know if there are any special taming kits later on in the game? I really want the IAP to be running because the special taming kit would be awesome. And when you are taming a pet is there a pattern for pushing the button or do you just sit and wait? I don't really know what I'm doing when I tame pets. lol I just try to push the button when the little X moves or something.
Just wondering can you use a gun as a warrior? I have a gun and it is equipped but not sure how to use it. thanks
The tame kits seem to have a better chance the greater the version you purchase. The level requirements are strictly for obtaining a higher level pet. But they can be used on lower level ones as well. Its just kind of a waste of money. I have been trying to get a dragon hatchling but seem to be untamable ;p I think you just use the net and it is random the effects. The IAP one is the only one of its type I have seen. But it may unlock in the hard mode. As for the gun, you actually have to put a point into shoot to be able to use it. All classes can use ranged weapons and have the same ranged skills. One is shoot (no spirit cost, and if it is charged/ held down it hits harder - ie aiming), one ensnares (raises crit and pulls enemy to you) cost spirit, one speeds up shooting speed - cost spirit, and I haven't gotten the last one since it requires level 50. So far no screen clearning ability like other rpgs... gotta have a little skill when doing mass pulls to level and hunt. You can get owned pretty easy.
all right thanks. Yah I just figured that out. Duh Im retarted. I had three points in shoot but I hadnt registered it yet lol. All right time to pwn.
The beta hardly has any bugs in terms of gameplay. However there are a few grammatical errors here and there. I don't know how long it will take to iron those out though. Hopefully not too long.
When this game comes out will we be able to keep our game saves from the beta? I guess if we can't I'll just keep using the beta and then use a different class with the final version.
