Has there been any news about the possibility of iPhone/iPod/Universal compatability? Fingers crossed Slitherine will see fit to grace those of us with a smaller screen with the ability to enjoy Warhammer 40K. If Space Hulk and Warhammer Quest can be Universal I don't see why Warhammer 40K can't benefit from that also.
No it's true! I own the board game and the 360 game they released and I have to admit that the game would work well with an IAP system attached to it! I am no fan of exploitative implementations of the model but when done right it can complement a game, and with a game like Blood Bowl it would actually work in buying teams and such!
it's developed by lordz games studio, so it will use most likely their PC engine (which will be great choice for a 40k game IMO)
Just checked the slitherine forums and someone asked if there will be a beta test and they replied yes but not for a few months yet, so I'd take that as this isn't coming any time soon
Yeah I thought so, too. We're talking about Slitherine here, I'm gonna be surprised if we play it it before 2015 I'm not expecting surprises here though. It's probably gonna be basically a solid Panzer Corps with Warhammer 40k skin on it, but still a few screenshots or some info regarding gameplay mechanics wouldn't hurt you know..
I would love battle academy re skinned with 40k guess Space hulk will have to be my warhammer fix until slitherine finish.
Wow, Slitherine making a Games Workshop game... I shudder at the thought of how much they are going to charge for this app. Probably around $50, and that's a lowball estimate.
