I'm not and wouldn't, the second my vision starts to deteriorate I will take measure to correct it. Don't be touchy.
This is crashing a lot on me. I'm not far in at all, I'm at the first town doing the red dungeon quest from the lute guy. When I get 4-5 rooms in, it crashes and closes the app. Apart from that its awesome but this has totally stopped my play.
Did you have to restart? Every crash I've had so far upon going back into the app I start from the turn the crash occured on, a pain but not a game ending problem.
Lol, no, but on the iPhone I just don't have a problem with the text size the way it is. I suppose it may be incredibly annoying to have to wear bifocals just to play the game. But I much prefer holding the phone closer with a full-featured interface to the alternative of huge, cartoon-y interfaces and stripped down UI. (You see I'm trying to encourage developers to stop these miserable iPad-only game releases... I like my universals!)
You seem clueless about what "measures" to correct the aging of vision are actually feasible or effective. If you think that when you get older then you just wave a magic wand and "correct" your vision and you will be able to see exactly as well as you did when you were younger, then you have something to learn. Do you also attack old people who use canes and walkers because they should just "correct" their gait and move at the same pace as everyone else? I'm not touchy but I'm really looking forward to you getting old and having a clue about what aging is like. Until then, you could always ask your parents.
Another guess is that maybe bandages can be applied to other characters and provisions can only be consumed by the character who's holding them?
Do I need to keep Wi-Fi on since I allowed iCloud? What happens if I turn it off? Will Warhammer Quest still save my game? I have only used the warrior priest and archmage so far. The warrior priest is awesome. He looks like a 40K Space Marine. The archmage seems to rotate between a shooting spell and a protect all warriors spell (does warriors mean all my characters or only the pure warriors? Also in one round when I cast this, an enemy hit one of my guys and his damage was negated, but then the rest of my party was no longer protected and took damage from attacks during that round).
Do you honestly think increasing the size of the text would really make it a "huge, cartoon-y " interface and stripped down UI. Hell no! There's plenty of space on the screen and when you are reading text boxes, you aren't using the rest of the UI anyway. I CAN read it if I squint and hold it up to a light. But I shouldn't have to. It's actually this kind of s*** that causes your eyes to strain and would eventually hurt your eyesight. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that this could have been avoided without affecting gameplay at all. And even reviews (like 148apps) have specifically pointed out the issue.
Telling me i'm rude on the internet doesn't mean that was the intent, glasses can correct back to 20/20 vision if you get them. Lets stop this pointless coversation though. Did you try a completely new stratagy eg using the heroes in a new order on different monsters? This worked for another player.
Someone share their feedback on hero strenghth as they level up, wondering which ones are key and which i don't have to worry about leveling up right now. Thanks
Ok yeah it was the marauder. Got in a really unbalanced fight last night in a white quest off the first city. The dungeon was filled with, I think, goblins up until the very end when I confronted the boss. He one-shotted each of my characters causing me to lose without even a chance. There was no level listed for the quest, but even if there was not sure it would help, as a higher level group would've found the rest the dungeon too easy with the boss being just right, whereas a lower-level group (like mine) obviously found the rest of the dungeon appropriate with the boss being impossible.
First, let me say that I agree that Fonts need to be increased, or give us the option to increase them! Second, I wish there was alot more enemy AI, and behaviors - right now they are all just mindless and not interesting much. Finally, the itemization in this game could have been alot better! That aside i love the Warhammer universe and this game so i bought this game and all IAP Hero. I can tell you that they are not any stronger than what you start with and in case of Archmage, i think Gray Wizzard is overall more powerful offensively. The slayer is a more damage orientated than his counterpart and the Warrior Priest is sort of like Berserker but has a buff on his side and 2 handers mostly.
It's not pointless because there is something important that many young people don't seem to understand. Whether you have "20/20 vision", or not, doesn't determine how well you can read small text. And no matter what kind of glasses or surgery you get, there are many people (including you, when you get older) who will never be able to read small text as well as you do right now.
I'd just pass this one off as a lost cause and have the last laugh yourself I'm not sure they'll ever understand your point.
The fonts are too small (although tolerable) for me on my iPad 3. However, I'm 49. But I'm wearing my glasses.
