I've had a couple of crashes, but the game saves frequently (every turn I think?) so it's just an irritation rather than something game-breaking. I'm leveling them all up, so I keep switching between them. I wouldn't recommend the magic users + the priest in one party, if you get a bad winds of magic roll you'll be in trouble.
20hours here and counting This is by far the best piece i have found on the game. It hits for 69 when it crits. I love it. I actually found it on the last red quest on the main campaing. Thats why i m repeating it again and again to find other stuff. Black quest is so hard that i m tired of that All warrios lvl 6 but the wizard almost there.
So what am I doing wrong? Am missing one quest and one settlement in the first area, I have travelled to every location and there's nowhere I can go, do I have to be a certain level to open up the last settlement or meet some certain requirement
Touch Arcade Game of the Week Candidate Warhammer Quest was one of 9 games successfully nominated for voting in Touch Arcade forum's Game of the Week (GOTW) poll of releases the week on May 29th. This replayability may come with its negatives though, as there are some who does not have all the time to play (like me!), who would want to be able to experience all or most that the game has to offer on their one and only playthrough. At least give the choice to select the skills/spells you want, perhaps? For example, with the wizard, what if I dont get more powerful healing spells? Or that Teleport spell seems like something I would want on his repertoire - after being pinned and eventually killed by heavy hitters on my runs.
Well, it appears I WILL need to purchase an iPad. Unless of course any iPod touch users out there have any other advice for me.
I just completed that quest, and Spoiler while I chose not to give up the boots to the rival noble when I got out of the dungeon, when I arrived in town it was as if I didn't have the boots anymore... Either I missed something, or the game simply forces you into specific paths no matter what.
I had this weird experience one time where I visited a town and when I got there it put up this text saying that my captors had marched me into town or something, and talking about stuff that didn't sound familiar to me. I think the game got mixed up. I didn't have any captors marching me, that I was aware of.
Whenever my Grey Wizard casts Blade of Night on my Warrior Priest, he doesn't receive an additional melee attack. The Blade of Night status will be there, but in red instead of blue. The spell works fine on my other characters. Is this a bug?
I think it has something to do with the level of the receiving char. I also remember 1 level char not having an extra attack after a night blade cast. However they've started getting them after level up.
Yay, now there are others who have experienced this bug. Or my other theory is it only works on characters who use swords (hence the Blade of Night description?)... not on hammers, not on axes... because I've had one instance where it never worked on my dwarf, but on my elf and marauder it did. I'm guessing this isn't the case though, as it would have been clear from the description. So it's more probably a bug more than anything.
Nope, the spell definitely works on warhammers and maces as well. It'd be better if people could provide a screenshot of the afflicted character in question when reporting "bugs" like this, so that we could see whether or not there's something mechanical that they are overlooking. Some people thought the spellcasting system was broken too, until they had the Winds of Magic mechanic explained to them.
