World of Goo [Releasing 14th of April]

I thought the iPad one will become universal :/ Should I buy the $0.99 one?--- I already have the iPad version..

 

It should have a update around the same time. Updates sometimes take a little while longer to show up.

Yes the HD is good, but this long for the iPhone version? Usually they take more time to develop it for the iPad, this is like the reverse. That's like releasing the full game, then getting people to wait like a year for the demo to come out and say "yup I'm sure everyone is excited for our newest release".
And I lol'd at the "this game is too advanced for older devices" BS. It seems lately a lot of developers are thinking their games are all revolutionary in graphics that only the latest hardware can play it, as if that makes their games "better". I'm pretty sure my 6-year old Sony Ericsson cellphone can handle this.

 

its supposed to have it according to the website, so its prob a simple patch to fix it. i emailed em so will see how long it takes.

I'm a little confused... Are there 2 versions of the game? One called "HD" one just for the iPhone? :/

 

I'm sure people will leave 1-star reviews complaining about non-retina
and the developer will catch wind soon enough...

 

You're probably looking at the iPad version. The iPhone version may not be out in your area.

the people having issues with the game showing no retina on ipod touch 4 and iphone 4 send em my way screenshots! so i can let the dev know talking to him via email.

So far, the HD version is not available for iPhone and the normal one isn't Retina optimized. Sad, since it's all about details. Hoping for a quick solution.

That's so-called Retina support???

 

At the moment it seems to be, but I'm sure it will be fixed in an update.
